Dental hygiene is very important for the health and wellbeing of our whole body. Unfortunately a hectic modern lifestyle and junk food abuse have lately created a lot of problems for our dental health. The good news is that by following a few simple rules you can keep your teeth in a good condition.
1) Good dental hygiene starts from an early age: There are soft bristle tooth brushes specially design for babies. It is also important that kids acquire the habit of brushing their teeth twice a day from an early age.
2) Brush twice a day after meals: It is recommendable to have a fixed routine of brushing your teeth at least twice a day. The lack of brushing your teeth will not only leave you a bad breath but bacteria and decay will build up on your teeth. If it is not possible to brush your teeth then try at least rinsing them with water or eating sugar free gum as this helps stimulating saliva which neutralizes the acid build up.
